Trying anything new, like yoga, can be a daunting and scary prospect. Here at the Yoga Haum we offer a nurturing, safe, and healing environment in which to learn and practice yoga.

It is our goal to help people to find a comfortable space to grow and learn about the practice of yoga.

Whether you have never taken a single yoga class or have been practicing for years our yoga classes are designed to meet you right where you are.

We cordially invite you to step into our space to join our healing community of like-minded people focused on wellness and well-being. We are here to support and encourage each other in acceptance and love. Namaste.

My Story

The first time I stepped into a yoga studio in 1995 I immediately knew I belonged…I was HOME.

There is something magical that happens when people come together in a quiet space breathing, moving, and meditating in tandem. Yoga gave me a quiet place to retreat and reflect which eventually became a quiet place within me I could draw from off my mat as well. It seemed only natural the next step would be to pass on the gifts that had been passed to me from so many wonderful teachers.

In 2015 I received my 200 hour certification from Live, Love, Teach in Fort Worth, Tx. I then went on to study under Angel Carithers-Brownlee at her studio, Temple Road Yoga, to complete my 300 hour certification. I have also participated in many workshops for various specializations. Some of those include workshops on breathing practices, Restorative Yoga, Outreach Yoga, Hip opening and many more.

My hope is to pass on all I have learned and continue to learn, to whoever can benefit along with the passion I have for the yoga life I so dearly love and cherish.
